Showing Up Shapes Futures
June 26, 2025Celebrating Working Families
As summer comes to an end, families everywhere are preparing for a new school year – backpacks filled with supplies, new routines taking shape, and families preparing for what’s next. This back to school season is about laying the foundation for children to thrive and, for the families we serve, this season can bring both excitement and challenges. At Power of Two, we’re walking alongside caregivers through each of these moments, celebrating their resilience and supporting their children’s bright futures.
Honoring Working Families this Labor Day
Labor Day is more than a final long weekend to close out summer – it’s a moment to recognize the dedication and resilience of working families. At Power of Two, we see every day how caregivers balance jobs, responsibilities at home, and the great task of raising the next generation. Their work is a labor of love that strengthens not only their families, but our communities as a whole.
This month, we’re shining a light on a few of those caregivers whose commitment inspires us daily. We invite you to join us in celebrating the heart and strength of working families everywhere:

They help identify and address serious and often silent health issues—such as postpartum depression, bleeding, infections, hypertension or preeclampsia, breastfeeding challenges, and the need for nutrition support or contraception counseling. Barriers like age, access to care, and competing responsibilities make it harder for many families to get the support they need during this important season of transition
