Zack Yorke

Zack is a Researcher at Google with over 15 years of experience in product development, field research, prototyping, teaching and storytelling. Prior to Google, he worked at IDEO, the human-centered design and innovation firm, and Joele Frank, WIlkinson Brimmer Katcher, where he advised clients in strategic communications. He has taught in the Designer as Entrepreneur Graduate Program at the School of Visual Arts, served on advisory committees at Cooper Union and as an Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania’s Undergraduate Fine Arts program. Earlier in his career, he was awarded the 2006-2007 William Fulbright Award and the 2003-2004 Thomas J. Watson Fellowship, for independent research in South Africa, where he recorded interviews with entrepreneurs and creative professionals and published articles on race, social justice and contemporary art. Zack received a B.A. summa cum laude, from Amherst College and a M.F.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Brooklyn with his partner and two children.
